Energized Racing – Team Profile
 

Energized Racing is fueled by passion, persistence, and a love for pushing machines to their limits. Driver Evan Staniland first caught the Ultra4 bug back in 2010 after spectating the legendary King of the Hammers, having already followed the sport closely since 2008. By then, Evan was no stranger to competition — he’d been tearing up the 4WD scene since 2008, making his mark in the Tuff Truck Challenge and other rock crawling events until 2014.

In 2017, the team stepped up to new challenges with the purchase of the old Dragtec buggy, debuting it at Cliffhanger 2021. But the true turning point came in 2023, when Energized Racing unveiled their current custom-built buggy — a three-month build that made its first appearance at Cliffhanger 2023. Against all odds, the team not only finished the build at the event itself but also claimed a stage win on its very first run.

After a big year in 2024, including Offroad Outlaws, the focus shifted to building the business and setting up 2025 for a fully committed season. With a rock-solid foundation in rock crawling, years of competition experience, and an unshakable determination, Evan and Zac are charging into the Ultra4 scene ready to make every race count.
