When offroad racing runs in your veins, there’s no turning back — and for Torque It Up Motorsports, that passion is a family affair. Led by father-and-son duo Ben Anderson and Daniel Noordermeer, this team blends decades of offroad experience, grit, and an unshakable love for the sport.

Daniel, the team’s battle-hardened navigator, first hit the dirt back in the ’90s, tearing it up in Pro Buggies and Trophy Trucks as part of Team 118 — with a young Ben cheering him on from the sidelines, soaking up every roar, every jump, and every victory. Fast-forward a few decades, and after a stint in the Royal Australian Air Force, Ben was ready for a new challenge — one that would put his driving skills and competitive spirit to the ultimate test.

From pit crewing and spectating for years, the leap into competition was inevitable. In 2022, Ben picked up a Dragtec-built Ultra4 beast from none other than Evan Staniland — a car with serious pedigree, having been one of the first Australian rigs to tackle the legendary King of the Hammers in the USA. With that, Torque It Up Motorsports was officially born.

The team debuted in 2023 at the Woodpecker Challenge, instantly making a statement with a 2nd place class finish. By 2024, the car’s decade-long battle scars were showing, so the duo made the tough call to park the rig and commit to a full rebuild — a decision that would set the stage for an epic comeback.

And come back they did. In 2025, after shaking down the fresh build at Offroad Outlaws, Torque It Up roared into Ultra4 Round 1, taking the win with a 1st in class. By Round 2, they backed it up with a 3rd in class, proving they’re not just here to compete — they’re here to dominate.

For Ben and Daniel, it’s more than just racing — it’s about family, mateship, and pushing the limits of what’s possible. With the rebuild dialed, the team hungrier than ever, and plenty of battles still ahead, one thing’s certain:
