2023 Thank you from the Recovery Crew

2023 Thank you from the Recovery Crew

First up, a big THANK YOU to the recovery crews for the whole Season, without you guys and your vehicles racing wouldn't happen.
To the crews of Rnd 3...
MadMatt & Milo, Scott & Rod, Ben & Matt, Jonathon & Ben, & Ross.
Thank you!!
For myself, the weekend started Thursday morning .. final track prep & set-up... Most of my Rnd3 crew rolled into Cherrabah, Thursday evening or early Friday morning..
Friday - Race day ... RC (recovery crews) where positioned for a short prologue & thankfully, no recoveries were required...
12:00!.. 5 hr enduro starts & for the whole 5 hrs, only 2 recoveries were required & both vehicles were towed back to the pits/camping area ... Friday night meeting... Our esteemed leader gave Marshall's the chance to set shootouts for Saturday's fun & great to see all the RC put their hands up to set tracks!! Thanx guys & the rigy
Shootout 1.. 1 rollover in the quarry, where we had RC positioned, about 2-3 mins & the rig was back on all wheels & sent on their way.
Only other incident was Davimac Motorsports throwing a tail shaft coming out of the quarry, easy removal of broken shaft & drove back to pits ..
Shootout 2.. cannot comment on this stage, was still on SO 1..
Shootout 3. MadMatt's creation .. Ran smoothly, no RC required!!
Shootout 4 .. Vadger's Gap .. What looked like a VERY daunting track, all rigs did an awesome job of negotiating the rocks. There was only 1 self-recovery & 1 assisted/self-recovery ... So all in all, for the amount of track time, RC had a very
quiet weekend !!
